Short answer

Yes. Discovering events and communities, applying, using your QR entry pass and receiving your certificate of attendance are all free. We are not planning a paid student membership.

Short answer

Once you select your university, the feed adapts to you. Filter by category, city or date, or search for a topic, community or department. Follow the communities you care about and their announcements appear in your feed.

Short answer

You apply from the event page. A QR entry pass is created on your phone the moment your application is registered; at the door a staff member scans it and records your attendance. The pass is personal and shows your name, so staff can match you from the list even if the QR fails to scan.

Short answer

Under Applications, on the card of that event. We also send you a notification when check-in opens. Note: the personal QR code on your profile is a different thing — it introduces you and is not scanned at the door.

Short answer

In your digital portfolio. Events you attended, community experience and certificates of attendance are collected in one place, so you can present your campus record as a whole in internship and job applications.

Short answer

Verification proves that you are a student and which campus you belong to. It is required for actions such as registering a community, and it keeps campus-specific flows open to that campus's own students. Verification is one-off: you enter a short code.

Short answer

Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen. We send a six-digit code to your email; you enter it in the app and set a new password. The code is valid for a few minutes and can be requested again.

Short answer

You can browse events and communities as a guest. Applying, following, saving, reacting and creating a profile require an account, because each of those creates a record that belongs to you.

Short answer

In notification preferences you can turn each type on or off separately: event updates, session reminders, application status, reactions to your posts and general announcements. Security notifications cannot be turned off, as they concern the safety of your account.

Short answer

Not by name. Saving is your own archive; the author only receives an anonymous count of how many people saved it. Likes are different: when you like something, the author is notified with your name. Dislikes are never reported.

Short answer

No. Companies cannot list, search or contact students individually. Contact is always established through an event, a community or an application you made, and with your consent.

Short answer

Training and workshops, conferences, panels and talks, career events, hackathons and competitions, festivals, fairs and booths, technical visits and social events. Each is a separate filter.

Short answer

You can follow Profile > Delete My Account in the app, or email info@uniconnectly.com from your registered address with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Deletion cannot be undone; your attendance history and certificates are removed as well.
