Explicit Consent Text
Optional processing that requires explicit consent: marketing, usage analytics, and career discovery. All off by default.

This document was drawn up in Turkish, and the Turkish text governs. This English version is an unofficial translation provided for convenience.
This text covers optional processing subject to your explicit consent under Art. 5/1-a of the KVKK. This processing is not required in order to use the service; all of it is OFF by default, each item can be enabled separately, and you can withdraw at any time. Not giving or withdrawing consent does not affect your use of the platform's core services.
Minor users aged 16-18: the commercial processing below — in particular §1 Marketing and §3 Career Discovery / Audience Sharing — is not offered to minors; it is disabled for these users and can become active only once you turn 18.
You give explicit consent only to the items you select below:
1.Marketing and Announcement Communication
I consent to receiving email / in-app notifications about new features, events, and opportunities. (You can unsubscribe or turn notifications off at any time.)
2.Usage Analytics
I consent to my usage statistics (which screens, which features — not linked to my identity / pseudonymised) being processed in order to improve the app. (Off by default.)
3.Career Discovery / Audience Sharing
I consent to relevant companies being able to discover me so that they can offer career and internship opportunities. In doing so:
- Sharing happens only through the communities I belong to and in aggregate (groups of at least 5).
- My name, email, phone, individual profile, and recommendation preferences are NOT SHARED with companies.
- The company sees only "I can reach this audience through this community channel" — it does not see you as an individual.
- When I turn this consent off, the sharing stops immediately.
This sharing also depends on the separate approval of the community you belong to — it cannot happen without both your consent and the community's. A double gate.
About explicit consent
- Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent at any time.
- §3 Career Discovery / Audience Sharing: you can turn it off in the app under Profile → App and Privacy → Privacy; sharing stops the moment you do.
- §1 Marketing and §2 Analytics: simply turn the switch off in the app under Profile → App and Privacy → Approvals. You may also write to info@uniconnectly.com if you prefer.
- Withdrawal takes effect from the moment of withdrawal; it does not affect processing lawfully carried out in the past.
- Records: your consents and withdrawals are recorded with a timestamp for evidentiary purposes (no IP is recorded).
- Not mandatory: you can use the platform fully without any of the above.
